Атакуючий захисник збірної України Сергій Гладир попрощався з Монако, за який він провів 3 останні сезони.
"Ще одна глава в моїй баскетбольної кар'єрі закінчилася. Можу сказати без жалю, що це була найкраща з усіх у кар'єрі. Ми не виграли титул чемпіонів Франції, але все, що ми зробили за 3 роки, було величезним успіхом", - написав Гладир у своєму Instagram.
Також українець висловив слова подяки президенту клубу, тренерові, партнерам по команді і вболівальникам.
One more chapter of my basketball career is over. And I can say without a doubt that it was the best one so far. We didn’t get French title, but overall what we have done since 3 years was a huge success. I want to say Big thank you to the President of AS Monaco Basket,Mr.Sergey Dyadechko, who gave me a chance to play for this great organization. For everything what he has done for me and my family. Big thanks to the whole AS Monaco Basket family. Oleksiy, Pierre, Yann, Olga, Abdallah, Herve, who worked hard to make me feel like home and make me think only about basketball. Thank you to Jeff and Diego, who were taking care of me everyday(and sometimes late late nights:)) Thanks to Coaching stuff, Zvezdan, Mirko and Olivier who were trusting me this 3 years. My teammates, huge thanks to all of you.We had up and downs, but those 3years shoulder to shoulder with you I will remember for a lifetime. But The BIGGEST words of gratitude are for Fans of Monaco. Thank you for your support every night in Gaston Medecin. You were amazing. One last time:DAGHE MUNEGUUUUU. Une page de ma carrière de basketteur se tourne et je peux dire, sans l’ombre d’un doute, que c’était la plus belle de toutes. Nous n’avons pas été sacrés champions de France mais, pendant trois ans, nous avons réussi tellement de choses. Je voudrais remercier le President Dyadechko pour m’avoir fait confiance et m’avoir permis de jouer pour ce beau club. Pour tout ce qu’il a fait pour moi et pour ma famille. Un grand merci aussi à toute la famille de l’AS Monaco, Oleksiy, Pierre, Yann, Olga, Abdallah, Herve, qui ont tant fait pour que je me sente chez moi et m’ont permis de me concentrer sur mon basket. Merci aussi à Jeff et Diego, qui ont pris soin de moi chaque jour et parfois très très tard dans la nuit. Merci aux coaches Zvezdan, Mirko et Olivier qui m’ont fait confiance pendant 3 ans.
